Students MUST receive Confirmation before attending Sessions.

The LEVEL 2 BASIC DRILLS class will focus on developing foundation skills. We will train in drum sticking techniques, stances, taiko form and musicianship.
PREREQUISITE: The LEVEL 1 INTRO TAIKO WORKSHOP or returning Uzume Taiko drum students. You can also book a private introductory session before enrolling in the LEVEL 2 BASIC DRILLS Sessions. 
NOTE: Students must have their own taiko drum sticks. If you do not have a pair, they are available for rent at the studio for a cost of $5.00 per pair per class.

• THUR Basic Drills FALL SESSION 12-Weeks 
• Sept 10 - Dec 10, 2026 (no class OCT 8 & NOV 12)

•  7:30 - 8:30 PM
   

COST:

• $  250.00 per 12-classes (does NOT include Taiko drumsticks)
• $    60.00 per 12-classes Taiko drumsticks rental
   

• Things to know about classes and workshops:
  Classes take place at the Uzume Taiko Studio located at #100 - 11566 Eburne Way on Mitchell Island in Richmond.

  • Bring a towel and water
  • Bring a pair of clean, indoor shoes with good grip to wear or participate in bare feet and wear loose, comfortable clothing
  • Bring Foam earplugs to protect your hearing
